On Sunday, 6 March 2022, in the afternoon at 13:37, in Mažeikių district municipality, on M. Daukšos street near No. 30A, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6, a Toyota Auris, an Opel Astra Station Wagon, a Skoda Superb registered in Ukraine, a Citroen C4, a Skoda Yeti, a BMW, an Opel Zafira and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
