On Sunday, 13 March 2022, in the evening at 18:30, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Naftininkų street near No. 44, a Mazda Premacy hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
