On Saturday, 12 March 2022, at night at 1:15, in Ukmergės district municipality, on Žiedo street near No. 5B, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus, a Saab 9-3 and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (3.87‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
