On Thursday, 17 March 2022, in the afternoon at 15:23, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilijampolė–Žeimiai–Šėta national road (kilometre 2.66), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Octavia and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Skoda, who violated overtaking rules.
