On Monday, 21 March 2022, in the afternoon at 11:30, in Kauno district municipality, Martinavos village, on Martinavos street, at the junction with Pamiškės street, an Audi A4 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
