On Saturday, 26 March 2022, at night at 23:21, in Alytus, on Jaunimo street, at the junction with Sudvajų street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Volvo S80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (2.63‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
