On Sunday, 27 March 2022, at night at 2:15, in Kelmės district municipality, on A. Mackevičiaus street near No. 33, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Caddy Life, a Volkswagen Golf, a Peugeot 1007, a Volkswagen, a Volkswagen Golf, a Volkswagen Passat and a Mercedes-Benz Classe E. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Caddy Life (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He refused a sobriety test. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
