On Wednesday, 30 March 2022, in the evening at around 18:00, in Telšių district municipality, on the Viešvėnai–Luokė–Upyna–Dirvonėnai regional road (kilometre 4.50), an Audi A6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.11‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
