On Monday, 11 April 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, Barklainių I village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 16), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN NL 202 registered in Poland, a Mercedes-Benz Actros, a Krone registered in Poland and a Schmitz Cargobull. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the MAN (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
