On Monday, 25 April 2022, in the afternoon at 15:43, in Vilnius, on Ateities street, at the junction with V. Drėmos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Isuzu and a Hyundai i 30. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 67-year-old driver of the Isuzu (47 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
