On Tuesday, 26 April 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Gardamo town, on Bažnyčios street near No. 4, a light quad bike ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of a light quad bike, who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
