On Sunday, 1 May 2022, in the afternoon at 14:45, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 140, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a car, a Toyota Avensis and a car. Two people were injured — the 46-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient) and a 59-year-old passenger of a car (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of a car, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.38‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
