On Sunday, 1 May 2022, in the evening at 21:23, in Kaunas, on Senosios Obels street near No. 30, a Renault Megane rolled over. One person was injured — a passenger of the Renault (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
