On Wednesday, 4 May 2022, in the evening at around 21:00, in Skuodo district municipality, on the Puodkaliai–Daukšiai regional road (kilometre 6.70), a Toyota Yaris rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.98‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
