On Thursday, 5 May 2022, in the evening at 17:09, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 36.70), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Lexus and an Audi Q5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Lexus, who failed to choose a safe speed.
