On Thursday, 5 May 2022, in the evening at around 19:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on P. Armino street near No. 60, at the junction with Aušros street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen and an Opel Astra-G-CC. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
