On Monday, 9 May 2022, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Panevėžys, on Naujamiesčio street near No. 31, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 55-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed.
