On Wednesday, 11 May 2022, in the morning at 10:13, in Anykščių district municipality, on J. Biliūno street near No. 17, a Nissan Almera Tino hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 75-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties.
