On Wednesday, 18 May 2022, in the evening at 18:30, in Kaunas, on Margavos street near No. 16, a Nissan X-Trail hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Nissan (28 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
