On Friday, 20 May 2022, in the afternoon at 15:01, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Daugpilis–Rokiškis–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 84.15), a Skoda Fabia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
