On Sunday, 29 May 2022, in the evening at 19:15, in Kaunas, on Rūko street near No. 10, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Lexus RX 350, a BMW and a BMW 3ER Reihe. One person was injured — a 25-year-old passenger of the BMW 3ER Reihe (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Lexus (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
