Drunk, unlicensed Seat driver in crash with Audi on the Raseiniai–Baisogala road
On Saturday, 4 June 2022, in the afternoon at 12:20, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Raseiniai–Baisogala national road (kilometre 15.16), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Seat, who violated overtaking rules. He was drunk (2.88‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
