On Thursday, 9 June 2022, at night at 23:30, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 47, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a Volvo XC60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
