On Saturday, 11 June 2022, in the morning at 8:50, in Utenos district municipality, Sūngailiškio village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 122.89), an Audi A6 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Audi (30 years of driving experience). He was drunk (1.83‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
