On Thursday, 16 June 2022, in the afternoon at 14:50, in Klaipėda, on Statybininkų pr. near No. 2, a vehicle hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 11-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of a vehicle (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance.
