Unlicensed Volkswagen driver in crash with Volkswagen on the Klaipėda–Liepoja road
On Monday, 27 June 2022, in the morning at 10:40, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 9), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Golf. Three people were injured — the 53-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf (treated as an outpatient), a 19-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen Golf (treated as an outpatient) and a 55-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen Golf (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
