On Wednesday, 6 July 2022, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Panevėžys, on Nemuno street near No. 79A, at a gas station, a BMW 320D hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (17 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
