On Saturday, 9 July 2022, in the morning at 6:56, in Vilnius, on Viršuliškių street near No. 51, at the junction with Šešuolių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volkswagen Multivan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
