On Thursday, 30 June 2022, in the afternoon at 14:45, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 137, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla and a Solaris Trollino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Toyota (10 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
