On Wednesday, 13 July 2022, in the afternoon at 16:16, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Anykščiai–Burbiškis–Rubikiai regional road (kilometre 5), a Volvo S60 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.63‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 58-year-old passenger of the Volvo was drunk (2.66‰). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
