On Thursday, 14 July 2022, in the evening at around 19:00, in Alytus, on Jazminų street, at the junction with Likiškėlių street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A5 and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals. She had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
