On Thursday, 14 July 2022, in the evening at 19:25, in Pakruojo district municipality, Lygumų town, on Taikos street near No. 1, an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Opel, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.58‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
