On Thursday, 14 July 2022, in the evening at 18:39, in Varėnos district municipality, Senosios Varėnos village, on Vytauto street, at the junction with Vilniaus street, a BMW X5 3.0D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
