On Saturday, 16 July 2022, in the evening at around 20:00, in Grigiškės, on Kranto street, at the junction with Miško street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Yamaha EW 50 and a Nissan Qashqai. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Yamaha (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
