On Monday, 18 July 2022, in the afternoon at 11:52, in Utenos district municipality, on the Utena–Pilveliai–Užpaliai regional road (kilometre 2.94), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.41‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
