On Wednesday, 27 July 2022, in the evening at around 19:00, in Klaipėda, on Vilniaus pl., at the junction with Šilutės pl., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Caddy Life, a Mercedes-Benz Actros and a Schmitz Cargobull. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
