On Thursday, 11 August 2022, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Palanga, on Liepojos pl., at the junction with Elijos street, a collision while turning right occurred. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Opel (42 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
