On Monday, 15 August 2022, at night at 0:20, in Raseinių district municipality, Gabšių village, on the Raseiniai–Šilinė national road (kilometre 4.35), a DAF FT XF 105.460T rolled over. One person was injured — a 37-year-old passenger of the DAF (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the DAF (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.96‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
