On Wednesday, 7 September 2022, in the evening at 17:50, in Klaipėda, on Šilutės pl., at the junction with Vilniaus pl., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH 480, a HFR - and a Mini ONE. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Volvo (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
