On Friday, 16 September 2022, at night at 23:55, in Kaunas, on A. Purėno street near No. 8, at the junction with Saulės street, a BMW 530 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 17-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
