Hit-and-run Mitsubishi driver runs off the road on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai road
On Saturday, 17 September 2022, in the morning at 9:33, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Šiauliai main road (kilometre 56.82), a Mitsubishi ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (27 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
