On Tuesday, 27 September 2022, in the afternoon at 15:54, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Laukų street, at the junction with Vasario 16-osios street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and an Aprilia. Two people were injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Aprilia (hospitalized) and a 16-year-old passenger of the Aprilia (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Audi (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
