On Thursday, 29 September 2022, at night at 2:30, in Vilnius, on Lvivo street, at the junction with 89A street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW 525 (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. The 31-year-old driver of the BMW 3ER Reihe had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
