On Wednesday, 28 September 2022, in the evening at around 20:00, in Šiauliai, on Lieporių street near No. 1, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-CC and a Ford Galaxy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Opel (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.78‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
