On Friday, 30 September 2022, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Kuršių street near No. 9B, a Mercedes-Benz B 180 CDI hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (25 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
