On Saturday, 1 October 2022, in the evening at 21:07, in Vilnius, on Savanorių pr. near No. 176B, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320D and a Volvo XC70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
