On Monday, 17 October 2022, in the evening at 19:31, in Pakruojo district municipality, on Vytauto Didžiojo street, at the junction with Statybininkų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-CC and a Toyota Hilux. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (2.79‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
