On Wednesday, 19 October 2022, in the morning at 10:30, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street near No. 17, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Renault Midlum 220.12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Opel (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
