On Saturday, 22 October 2022, at night at around 23:00, in Klaipėda, on Jūrininkų pr., at the junction with Minijos street, a Citroen C5 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
