On Monday, 24 October 2022, in the morning at around 9:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Respublikos street, at the junction with Žemaitės street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Ford Mondeo and a Kymco. One person was injured — the 17-year-old driver of the Kymco (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 78-year-old driver of the Ford (55 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
